More about Rolling Stone: Rolling Stone was founded in California in 1967 by Jann Wenner and Ralph J. Gleason. It is currently published by Wenner Media, publisher of UsWeekly and Men's Journal. Originally the magazine assimilated with and covered the hippie counterculture. In the early 1970's Rolling Stone began to be recognized for their political coverage. Each issue includes reviews on new releases in music and movies, celebrity stories and photographs, information on the new and upcoming artists, and fashion. Each issue includes a feature story on an individual or a band along with a number of articles focused on political topics. In recent years, Rolling Stone began listing the "all-time greatest" such as "50 Moments that Changed Rock and Roll."
